While visiting with my distant cousin Tadeusz in Słupsk, Poland this summer I had the opportunity to see many places around Słupsk. One of the places that fascinated me the most was a historic polish village musem in Kluki. I think I took about 400 photos that examined all the details of the construction of each building.
Słowinska Village Museum in Kluki Heritage center
Zagroda Słowińska "Słowinska Park" was built in 1962. This museum of a reconstructed village shows the traditional and typical culture of fishing villages in the area. The surrounding scenery can be viewed from Rowokół "holy mountain" which is 115 meters above sea level.
The Museum of the Slovinian Village in Kluki is a recreation of the layout of an old village. Walking through this historic village feels like you have stepped back in time. The unique and fascinating thing about the Museum is that it is an incredible reconstruction of a section of a village. These buildings come from all around the area. They have been carefully deconstructed and then reconstructed on site. The only access for visitors is one road which runs through the center of the village.
- Reimann family's farm, 1850,

- Fishing warehouse,
- Charlotta Klick's log cabin, end of the 18th century,

The thatched roofs were actually still used into the 20th Century. One building may hold multiple families with one section of the building which housed the animals.
