I am leaving today for one month visit to Poland & Czech Republic to see family and take in the sites. I have tried to Blog before with poor results, but despite that I will again make an attempt to allow you to follow my adventures. Posts may be short with a photo or two, but it may be interesting non-the-less. I have discovered that it is difficult to Blog while traveling (unless that is your job) for two main reasons, time and Internet access. When you have a busy schedule it is almost impossible to find the time to Blog.

If you are not already subscribed to my Blog through a reader service, to keep up on updates you can subscribe to my entire blog or if you are just interested in keeping up with my travels you can subscribe to the category of "Poland Traditions & Interest". Here is how you do that...... Click on the category you are interested in following from the Blog Categories listed in the column on the right. You will see all posts in that category. You then click on "Subscribe to this category" written below the category title. If you would like to subscribe to all of my blog posts you can select "Subscribe to Blog" This way you will receive a notification via email that a new post is ready for you to read. Just follow the form to fill in the information needed.

I will leave this evening and be met at the Krakow airport by my cousin Łukasz and his family. It will be an interesting visit as the weather is forecast to be unusually hot. The temps may get to over 100 F, which will be breaking records in Poland. We may have to make changes from the original plans to work around the oppressive heat.
