Leslie Lawson presents the certificate.Last month I attended 6 days of training in Forensic Genealogy and earned two Certificates of Completion from the Forensic Genealogy Institute in Dallas, Texas, held March 24-26, 2014.
The first Certificate of Completion I recieved was for attending " Foundations in Forensic Genealogy." I also earned a Certificate of Completion for attending "Advanced Forensic Evidence Analysis" held March 27-29, 2014. Both institutes offered more than 40 hours of intense instruction with significant hands-on interaction with real-world work examples and resources. Forensic genealogy is defined as genealogical research, analysis, and reporting in cases with legal implications.
About 30 people attended " Foundations in Forensic Genealogy" & 55 people attended "Advanced Forensic Evidence Analysis". There was limited space available and registration was first come first served. If you get the opportunity to attend the next sessions, I encourage you to jump on the opportuntiy as quickly as possible.
Some of the topics covered during this intensive 6-day training include, Guardianships, Real Estate and Rights of Way, Deeds and Oil, Gas & Natural Resources, Dual Citizenship, Capital Mitigation, Military Repatriation (JPAC), Unidentified & Unclaimed Persons, Missing and Unknown Heirs, Adoptions, DNA & Genetic Genealogy.
If you are looking to expand your genealogy career, you will definitely get your money's worth from this Institute.
