Sukiennice (Cloth Hall)I have been to the rynek (town square) in Kraków many times, but had yet to see it at night, so Gosia decided that we would goand see the night activity in Kraków.
It had been a hot Saturday and the evening temperature was beautiful. Everyone was out and about this evening, probably partly due to not being able to do much during the warm daylight hours. The rynek was bustling with activity and there were people everywhere. Old town was lit up from all the store fronts and the accent lighting in rynek.
The view of Wawel Castle at night was fantastic and I even was able to get a photo of the dragon breathing fire at night.
Rynek at night is wonderful. I am able to see Sukiennice (Cloth Hall) all lit up along with St. Mary's Basilica and all the vendors.
You may not have the chance to see Rynek at night, but if you do, you must go, it is so vibrant and full of activity. The almost full moon made it extra special.
