Placemat at "Pierogarnia Stary Toruń"Our day ended with a bang! We returned to Toruń and walked to a popular restaurant here in Toruń "Peirogarnia Stary Toruń"
Everyone says it has the best pierogi and after tasting them I can not disagree! MY MOUTH WAS IN HEAVEN!!! I chose to have the traditional pierogies with potatoes, onions & bacon with a garlic sauce, while the others had some that were like small paszteciki. Adam had meat with plums, Artur had some with chicken & and Ania had pierogies with pork. If you are every in Toruń, you must pay a visit to this restaurant, your tastebuds will be getting a gift from heaven.
My eyes were bigger than my stomach & I thought I would have eaten more, but it was just not possible. We all were VERY full and would not be able to eat any dessert, but we did walk a bit after dinner & stopped at a popular place called "Lenkiewicz" for ice cream.
Interesting color choice.Wonderful old doorToruń street scene.Heaven on a plate!!!Food, glorious food!!!At "Lenkiewicz" for some ice cream.
