Reminisce Magazine is Bringing Back Good Times
I have a friend that had been given some older copies of Remimisce Magazine to look at. I saw them and began flipping through them and was entranced. The content this magazine offers is a wonderful look into history of the 20th century through the stories written by contributing writers.
Advertisements are all but nonexistent. The pages are adorned with LOTS & LOTS of old photos and stories. (Oh- did I remember to say LOTS?) You will find stories that cover personal & major historical events from about 1920 through the 1960s.
Some of the sections I found interesting are "Ads from the Old Days", "I've Kept It - All These Years" (shorts on mementos and memorabilia). There are family stories of tough times, and childhood memories, old recipes and cartoons. Its well worth a look if you have not seen it before.
I am curious how many others may or may not be aware of this magazine.
