The Genealogy Assistant will be at the Warner Fall Foliage Festival in Warner, NH October 11-12, 2014. In addition to general genealogical research, I have specialties in Polish and French-Canadian research. If you are in the area or plan on going to the Festival please stop by and say hello. My booth will be set up at the Upton Chandler House Museum across from the Warner Historical Society.
Stop by and we can talk genealogy, or just watch the huge slide show of photos from my travels all while listening to some cultural music. I will have material available to help with genealogy research. I will also have some Polish language learning software available. Copies of the Polish American Journal and White Eagle newspaper will be available for free give until they are gone.
I have been doing genealogy research since 2002 & have worked as a Professional Genealogist since 2008. I specialize in Polish and American-Canadian Genealogy. As a member of APG, I was the 2010/2011 President of the New England Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists (NEAPG). I have Certificates of Completion for studies in "Foundations of Forensic Genealogy" and "Advanced Forensic Genealogy Techniques". I have been a volunteer librarian at the local Family History Center, and a genealogy research consultant at "Ask the Expert" Ancestry Road Shows. I have traveled to Poland numerous times & researched in churches and archives. At conferences and special events, you may find me dressed up in my Sherlock Holmes outfit, or my Kujawy (the folk costume from the region in Poland where my ancestors came from).
