Hussar OutfitWe could not go to Bydgoszcz without going to the military museum there. Adam is quite knowledgeable about history & he has a special knowledge of Poland's military history. When Adam was younger, he was in the mobile infantry.
War may not be a pretty thing, but it has been part of man's history as long as man has been on this earth, so it can not be ignored. The museum has a collection of some real military equipment, but what I found most interesting is their layout of models of tanks. The have a life size cutout on the wall of the largest and smallest tanks in the world. If you would like to pay a visit to this museum, they have their displays in Polish, English & German.
Walking upstairs you can see Polish uniforms and equipment throught the history of Poland from medieval time until today. I especially like the Hussar's display as they were very elaborate in an attempt to scare the enemy.
